My two sons and I were victims of a crime, I'll try to make this story short as I can : I am a single father, my two sons and I moved in with my father to care for him because he was old and had failing health, we brought along all of our belonging and stored it at his home while we stayed there, a year later he become very ill and was hospitalized, in that time while was he the hospital my brother and his nephew had stolen anything of any value out of my father's house including all the property that belonged to my sons and I. My brother which was a convicted felon and drug addict had illegally signed my father's new car title over to his name and illegally named himself the Executor to my fathers's estate, I went to work on a 5 day job out of town and when I arrived back home I found out my brother had brought my father home from the hospital and that my father died that week of unknown reasons ( I personally think my brother murdered my father), I also found out that all my father's financial accounts/ bank accounts/ safety deposit box, stocks, credit cards were all emptied, and borrowed upon by my brother.
I tried to get an autopsy but I could not afford it, I called the sheriff's department and they were completely useless, they said it was a civil affair and would not get involved. I paid an attorney to go to court, the County Court removed my brother as Executor due to an executor cannot be a convicted felon, that kept my brother from taking the house from my father's estate but everything else he and his son had stolen from out of the estate and I could not afford court and attorney fees to force him to return the stolen property or funds from all the financial accounts, my brother then out of spite severly dammaged the house that it could not be lived in, he even stolen all the fixtures, doors, all appliances, electrical wiring, copper plumbing and even the HAVC units, then my brother took off on an long vacation in the carribean islands so that he could not be found.
So my two sons and I was left with a house we could not live in, so we moved out and I look for work in the city, meanwhile my nephew had moved in my father's old house without any permission and used it as a drug party house, and ran up all the utility bills in my deceased father's name and vacated the house leaving it even more damaged.
The court had named me Administrator (executor) of my deceased father's estate, I found out that my father had not paid any taxes on the property in about four years, and also neglected to pay any home owner dues; so I now I am stuck with a house that needs remodeled, $1000 home owner dues and $2000 of property taxes I have to pay of lose the house which is the only thing I received out of the inheritance since my brother and his son stolen it all. I have retained attorneys to settle the probate to get the funds back from my brother but the attorneys keep wanting more and more money which I cannot afford so basically the attorneys were just theives also. The courts refuse to let me sell the property to pay the taxes and depts on the estate. I am now flat broke, in debt and my sons and I are facing being homeless because of all this probate and the crimes against us. My sons and I plan on moving back into the old house because we have no place left to go, on top of that my vision has became so bad that I was declared legally blind but it would be months, maybe a year before I recieve any disability benefits. We are barely surviving and cannot find help anywhere and we are about to lose our only place to live. We need a miracle.
The county has giving me to July 1st, 2008 to pay the taxes and home owner dues or we lose the house, I have been trying to get loans but keep getting denied, I have not found a grant that will work for us either, I am out of resources and own nothing to put up for collateral. This has really shown my sons and I how greedy, cruel and corrupt the government legal and moneytary system is.
Can anyone PLEASE help us ASAP before it is too late?
